The Department of Posts conducts three departmental exams for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS).
These are as under-
- GDS to MTS Departmental exam
- GDS to Postman Mailguard Departmental exam
- GDS to PA SA Departmental exam
GDS has to clear GDS to MTS exam to get promoted to MTS.
Similarly, he has to clear the Postman Mailguad Exam to get promoted to Postman and the PA SA exam to get promoted to Postal Assistant.
It means GDS can be promoted to MTS, Postman, and Postal Assistant if he clears these departmental exams.
