The post office department introduced DOP Internet Banking for their customers.
DOP Internet Banking is the Internet Baking for Post Office Account.
Post Office customers can do online transactions, post office account balance inquiries, and other online services on their mobile phones using the DOP Internet Banking facility.
Procedure to Activate DOP Internet Banking
To activate DOP Internet Banking for your post office account, follow the below steps.
- Make sure your CIF is updated as per requirements.
- Visit your home branch post office where your Post Office Account is opened.
- Get the POSB Internet Banking Service request form and fill it out by using the post office account passbook.
- Submit the Internet Banking Service request form to the post office counter staff.
- After successful verification, post office staff will perform a task on the system to enable your DOP Internet banking.
- You will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number “DOP Internet Banking is now enabled on your post office account number XXXXXXXXXXXXX”

Who can get DOP Internet Banking?
Every Post Office Savings Bank account holder can avail of DOP Internet Banking.
Make sure you have submitted DOP Internet Banking Activation form to your post office home branch.
Single and joint, both types of post office accounts are eligible to avail DOP e-banking facility.
Note: Joint A, minor, lunatic, and illiterate are not allowed to availing internet banking.
Before applying for DOP Internet Banking, make sure your CIF number is updated with a valid email ID, valid mobile number, and valid PAN card.
CIF should also be updated first name, last name, date of birth, gender, father’s name, valid identity and address proof, correct present address, and mother’s maiden name.
