Hello Friends, recently an order has been issued by the Establishment Division (GDS Section) of Postal Directorate regarding grant of Combined Duty Allowance to Branch Post Master (BPM) working at Single Handed Branch post office. It means a specific CDA rate/amount will be paid on monthly basis to BPM of the single-hand post office for mail delivery work and mail conveyance work.

This is regarding the grant of Combined Duty Allowance (CDA) to Branch Postmasters (BPMs) who are working at single-handed Branch Post Offices.
The proposal for grant of Combined Duty Allowance (CDA) to Branch Postmasters (BPMs) who are working at single-handed Branch Post Offices has been examined in consultation with the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. The Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance on examination of the proposal has agreed to grant Combined Duty Allowance w.e.f 01.07.2018 as under:-
