Postal Directorate issued an order to implement Biometric Attendance in Post Office, RMS Office, PSD office, and MMS office.
Now, all postal employees will be present through biometric attendance in post offices all over India.
Biometric Attendance in Post Office
A few years ago, DOPT issued an order regarding the Introduction of an Aadhar-enabled biometric attendance system in all central government offices.
In 2023, the Postal Department (India Post) issued the order Z-92/13/2023-Coord./O&M dated 28th April 2023 to procure fingerprint scanners and other equipment required for Aadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance in all post offices till 30th May 2023.
Biometric Attendance will be started in all Mail offices, Post offices, and other operative offices under India Post from 01st June 2023.
